Mauna Lani is located on the Kohala Coast (west side) of The Big Island, about thirty minutes from Kona. It is the site of a luxurious resort that has long been known as a front runner in historic preservation of the surrounding land, and a pioneer in conservation, pollution prevention and utilization of renewable resources.
